Mobility impairments in cats, often caused by trauma, injury or birth defect, can be very costly to treat and maintain. Many cats require constant supervision, the potential use of a mobility cart and often medication to treat urinary incontinence resulting from nerve damage. Cats who have neurological conditions in many cases do not receive the veterinary diagnostic testing they require due to high cost. The Gillie Fund is designed to help in all of these cases.
