Ginger

Ginger, an 8 month old red tabby kitten, was diagnosed with bilateral luxating patellas. Her caregiver has already taken care of the surgery on her left hind leg, but needed financial assistance affording the required surgery on her right hind leg.

This condition was affecting Ginger's mobility horribly and she was unable to walk well, let alone romp and play like kittens should!

Ginger provides therapeutic assistance to her caretaker's grandson who suffers from PTSD. Ginger has had such a positive effect on him, but since her diagnosis, he was scared to handle or touch her and was deeply worried about his friend.

Through our Gillie Fund Grant, Ginger now has the funds necessary for her surgery, which is scheduled for March 25th! We will bring you updates about Ginger soon!
