Zena is an 18-month old black female cat that was injured while playing in her owner's back yard. While it is uncertain what caused her injury, she has suffered a broken rear leg and she desperately needs surgery to repair it.

Cats in Crisis is pleased to offer a Nine Lives Emergency Grant so that this special cat could receive her critically needed surgery. Zena's owner has promised to keep Zena strictly indoors from this point forward.
