Arty
Arty is an absolutely adorable 8 week old hairless sphynx kitten recently diagnosed with a heart murmur and an enlarged heart by his family veterinarian. It was strongly recommended that Arty be evaluated by a veterinary cardiologist. Arty's new adoptive mom needed assistance in affording the expensive cardiac ultrasound and consultation.
We were pleased to offer a Stripes Grant to help Arty with this much needed appointment on January 30, 2008. Update 05/06/2008: We at CIC are extremely saddened to report that Arty crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. He struggled with cardiac complications for many months and during his short time here, was deeply cherished by his caregiver. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ibojka during this difficult time of grieving the loss of such a special kitten. |
