Midnight is the newest recipient of our Stripes Grant. She is a sweet, friendly 13 year-old black cat that was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She had been responding well to daily medications, but is no longer doing well with her prescription medication. She requires I 131 irradiation therapy, which is a very expensive procedure requiring several days of hospitalized care. This procedure will cure her thyroid disease and lead to a better quality of life.
