We understand that many rescue groups and humane organizations often take cats in without being aware that they are special needs cats. Once obtaining a diagnosis, many rescue groups are faced with the decision of how to financially afford caring for cats with chronic medical conditions, while still maintaining the expenses of their every day operation and adoptions.

Cats in Crisis understands the financial strain some organizations face in caring for these special felines and we want to try to help. For those rescue groups who go out of their way to give special needs cats a second chance at life, we would like to offer an additional fundraising tool to consider. For those organizations who can contribute financially and are actively trying to raise funds to get their chronic special needs cat the care it needs, we would like to help you with your endeavor.

Cats in Crisis will accept applications to showcase a special needs cat at your shelter who is in desperate need of financial assistance to help with veterinary expenses, treatment, diagnostic procedures and prescription medications and food. We will showcase your cat on our website and encourage donors to consider donating specifically to your cat. Funds will be set aside and will go directly to help with your cat's expenses. The cat must have a chronic medical condition diagnosed by a veterinarian to qualify for this program.
